The Secretariat-General of the Presidency of the Italian Republic has elected to use the technology of iseemedia Inc.'s Zoom Image Server for its Internet presentation of the Quirinale Palace, the official Residence of the Italian President, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.
Since 31st December 2002 it has been possible to view the Palace Rooms and some of the clock collection, tapestries and busts online using Zoom Image Server technology.
These "tours" were officially announced on the RAI network (Italian State Television) and in a press release from the ANSA press agency.

Sandra Palumbi, Marketing Manager for Vista Tecnologie, said: Zoom Image Server has been chosen for its extraordinary powers of use; Internet users will be able to see unique, even screen-sized images in an instant, right down to the smallest detail.
