Anthony DeCristofaro
President & CEO, iseemedia, Inc.

Mr. DeCristofaro is a 25-year veteran in the computer industry. Prior to establishing iseemedia, Anthony was President and Chief Executive Officer of MGI Software since December 1995. He was a founding board member of Delrina Corp., which was subsequently purchased by Symantec. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. DeCristofaro was Vice President and General Manager of AST Canada, a computer hardware company. From 1987 to 1991, Mr. DeCristofaro worked as General Manager at NEC Canada, a computer hardware company. Mr. DeCristofaro holds an Advanced Business Administration degree from York University.

 

Ihor Petelycky
Vice-President Technology &
Business Development

Mr.Petelycky spent six years at MGI Software as Director of Product Management, General Manager, Video Division, and most recently as Chief Product Strategist. Mr. Petelycky graduated with a Communications degree from Loyola University in Montreal, and worked in television with TV Ontario, and as a partner in SCI Productions.
Mr. Petelycky then moved into the computer field where, at Picture Data Inc., he managed marketing and business development for a Videotex-based Unix Transaction Processing Server (UNITASC). At LanWorks Technologies, Inc. and at LanSource, Inc. as VP of Marketing and Business Development and was responsible for the development of strategic relationships with key industry leaders such as 3Com, IBM, Microsoft, etc. Both LanWorks and LanSource were subsequently acquired by 3Com.

 

Marc A. Berger
Chief Scientist

Marc Berger serves as patent agent for several companies in the software industry. Berger was formerly Chief Scientist of MGI Software, Corp., where his responsibilities included intellectual property, technology evaluation, and liaison with industry consortia and standards bodies. Prior to MGI, Berger was Chief Scientist for Live Picture, Inc. and for OliVR Corporation, Ltd., an Israeli software firm that specialized in digital image compression and processing tools. Berger is also a consultant for the Weizmann Institute of Science, and served as Chairman of the Technical Committee and board member for the International Industry Imaging Association (I3A – formerly the Digital Imaging Group). Earlier Berger was on the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University and Georgia Institute of Technology. He was an appointed member of the US National Research Council (NRC) Panel for the Assessment of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

 

Steven C. Marques
Managing Director
General Manager, Emerging Markets

Most recently Vice-President, Sales & Marketing at Omnigon BioSciences, Mr. Marques spent six years at MGI Software, where he held a number of positions, most recently, Director of Sales. Prior to MGI, he was North American Sales Manager at Delrina Corporation. Mr. Marques minored in medical sciences and imaging at the University of Washington and received an Electrical Engineering degree. He was also one of the founding team of Egghead Discount Software and was National Sales Manager for Allsop Inc.

 

Andrew Opala,
Director of Development,

Mr. Opala has been in software development from his earliest days at Atari in 1981 designing video games, to most recenetly at MGI Software where he was responsible for the development and management of the Internet-based products. In 1999, MGI recruited Mr. Opala from High-Sense Geophysics where he was head of software development. Mr. Opala has held various positions with BASEC Inc., “Computel” and “Creative Computing” where he wrote and continues to write extensively on various topics in the software industry. Mr. Opala has technical certificates in Flight and Adult Education, a Bachelor of Science Equivalent in Astronomy, Physics and Computer Science, and a Master’s studies in Astrophysics.
